With it being Easter last weekend, I went down to my mum’s in Tamworth for the day to deliver Easter eggs to Brandon and Chloe. They had so much chocolate, it’s crazy!  As well as the main eggs, we also had an egg hunt in mum’s garden, which they really got into! They’re really funny together, although they can wind each other up so quickly!

Also, last month I went down to Bristol for Ali & Mat’s engagement party. I took the train down, and stayed at the Ibis which is just a couple of minutes walk from Ali’s house. The party took place on a barge-like riverboat, with glass windows and roof, but it was so rainy that you couldn’t really see anything outside which was a shame! It was nice catching up with some old friends, both from uni days, and those in Bristol who I’ve got to know.

Then in the evening, we all went to carry on the celebration at Ali’s local pub – The Barley Mow. It’s not the biggest place, so was pretty rammed! We stayed there until it closed, and then I made my way back to the hotel. Next morning, I checked out and walked over to Ali’s (the rain had finally stopped!) where I have brunch with her and Mat.

Ali had some meeting she had to go to in the afternoon, so I took a stroll around Bristol for a few hours until I was able to catch my train back to Manchester!
